About Me

My photo
hello i am 22yrs old and married to my best friend,we currently live in Hurricane Utah and we just bought our first house.. no children (yet)! I love to bake anything and everthing, late 2010 i found out that i can no longer eat anything with GLUTEN in it.. this a very large problem because i am a Huge fan of baked goods, so i was very disappointed that the things i loved the most i could not have. I started putting my creative side to good use and have created some very good recipes that are completly GLUTEN FREE and so delicious, i am currently working on opening a bakery... called "the skinny baker!" simply delicious.. simply GLUTEN FREE... THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!

Twist on pb&j

Hey Everyone!!
I created a twist on the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich, yup late last night i was craving a pb&j with a tall glass of milk... i started to get a little frustrated because we ran out of bread that i COULD eat..
So i started to go through my cabinets and i came across a box of “chocolate chex cereal" gluten free...  I started to ponder now how can i use this..?  Then it came to me, what if i made a peanut butter ball then rolled it in the chocolate chex mix   MMM... mmm... then cover it with warm jelly!

It starts with about 2 cups of peanut butter then you
Add..a little honey to add some sweetness
Then add some powder sugar tell it starts to look like play dough,
Crush 1 to 2 cups of chocolate chex mix
Roll your peanut butter mix into balls
Then roll them into the crushed chex mix
Warm up some of your favorite jelly and drizzle over the top of your peanut butter balls!
For a different twist you could drizzle some chocolate to make it more of a dessert!
Enjoy!
